Damn cliffhangers... On the other hand isn't the reflex too high ? Even for an "Elder" Grimm I would not expect them to be able to correctly predict and move to counter multiple long range weapons at the same time.

I think it's an overgrown Those Fuckers, per Nora. Which in turn was a Grimm version of the Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park.

Yes, the Flash Drakes are just Grimmified Tzitzi-ya-kus. Monster design is a pain, and I will absolutely work in cool monsters from other IPs if I can (because, let's be honest, so did the CRWBY, and often badly at that (to the point that, as mentioned, they stopped coming up with cool names entirely)).

Behemoths are ~95% covered in armor, so it's like someone in full plate is 'predicting' incoming fire by blocking it on their coverings (except for the blink, that was 100% seeing Ruby line up and going 'ohshit').
