Was reading and thinking when he mentioned one of his old squadmates wanting to grab a Elizabeth mission we'd get a job of him finding old squaddie to save. Then i had to wonder would the company allow that level of interactions since they dont like that and even with the steven from laughter having to jump through so many hoops for a single visit before being told your done now. This chapter was great! I certainly didn't think about how the new power contract could interact with the previous one Lee took. And seeing how deep the trauma runs in the Barbies is kind of shocking. But when Barbie can be anything, that includes traumatized I guess.

As much as I enjoyed this, the only thing I could think of while reading the Barbie discussion was that it will either be received smashingly when you post it on QQ, or, well, the thread is going to get "fun". Also, can I just say that this Lee fucking scares me? Just instantly escalates to "Summon Azathoth", doesn't go insane(er) from meeting Azathoth. With the twins, this is, what, the third encounter with semi- to full-on eldritch entities that he solved via talking in a week? I don't care how good or bad he is at physical/magical combat compared to the other Lees. His Talk Fu is much scarier.

For what it's worth, I didn't recognise it either. Might be worth using the full expression,or at least expanding it to "blind squirrels and all that" to make clear it's an idiom rather than a really _weird_ typo. Also, possible correction: how did Capbie know to call him Kencifer? I thought that name had only been used OOC. On a more positive note: I _love_ the line "lie back and think of Mattel".
