[AN: This is a big and wholesome chapter. No cliff.]

[Dr. Linda Martin's Office]

Linda had dressed for a date.

That fact was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore as Lucifer sat comfortably on her couch discussing another beautiful woman.

She wore a fitted silver dress that hugged her figure, her hair fell loosely around her shoulders, and the glasses Lucifer had specifically requested remained perched on her nose. She'd even spent longer than usual choosing her perfume before leaving home because, despite knowing better, she'd been looking forward to tonight all week.

Yet their promised date had apparently begun with therapy.

More specifically, therapy about Alexandra Daddario.

Linda slowly crossed one leg over the other while Lucifer stared toward the ceiling with visible confusion.

"So, let me understand this," Linda said as she balanced her notebook against her knee. "You spent the entire day with Alexandra, she invited you upstairs afterward, you watched movies together, kissed several times, and then you left without having sex."

Lucifer looked toward her. "When you say it like that, Doctor, it sounds deeply concerning."

Linda fought back a smile. "Why is it concerning?"

"Because I could've slept with her," Lucifer replied as though explaining an obvious medical emergency. "I'm almost certain of it. She wanted me. I wanted her. We'd already kissed, she was curled against me for several hours, and there was enough romantic tension in that apartment to power a small European country."

Linda made another note. "Yet neither of you pushed things further."

"Precisely."

Lucifer leaned forward and rested his elbows against his knees. His expression carried the frustration of someone trying to solve a puzzle that shouldn't have been difficult.

"What if she was waiting for me to take the initiative?" he asked. "I always take the initiative. It's practically one of my defining characteristics. People hesitate, I don't. People overthink, I act. It's an excellent system that's served me wonderfully for thousands of years."

Linda watched him carefully. "Why didn't you take the initiative this time?"

Lucifer opened his mouth.

Nothing came out.

His eyebrows slowly pulled together.

Linda waited.

Lucifer finally leaned back and crossed his arms. "That's precisely why I'm here."

Linda glanced down at herself before looking around the office. "Interesting, because I thought you were here to take me on the date you promised."

Lucifer's eyes immediately traveled over her silver dress again.

He'd already noticed it when he arrived, obviously. Lucifer Morningstar would've noticed Linda wearing that dress from several city blocks away. He'd simply become distracted by the far more troubling realization that he'd voluntarily left Alexandra's apartment without attempting to get her into bed.

"You look spectacular, by the way," Lucifer said as his eyes lingered appreciatively. "The silver was an inspired choice, and keeping the glasses was even better."

Linda smiled despite herself. "Thank you. Now stop changing the subject."

Lucifer sighed dramatically. "You therapists truly are relentless."

"You pay me to be relentless."

"Technically, our payment arrangement has become considerably more complicated lately."

Linda raised an eyebrow. "Especially now that you're taking your therapist on dates."

Lucifer pointed toward her as if she'd proven his argument. "Exactly. Boundaries have become terribly inconvenient."

Linda smiled before returning to the issue. "Tell me what happened when Alexandra kissed you."

Lucifer's expression softened slightly. "Which time?"

"The last time."

He thought back to Alexandra curled beside him on the couch, the television glowing across the room while Beauty and the Beast waited in the menu. She'd kissed him gently and made it perfectly clear that things were staying relatively respectable.

"It was nice," Lucifer admitted. "Annoyingly nice."

Linda tilted her head. "Why annoyingly?"

"Because I didn't feel some desperate need to turn it into something else." Lucifer rubbed his fingers together thoughtfully. "I wanted her, obviously. I'm neither blind nor dead. Yet when she pulled away, I simply accepted it. We watched another bloody Disney movie afterward."

Linda's smile widened. "Which one?"

Lucifer looked offended. "That information is therapeutically irrelevant."

"Beauty and the Beast?"

His silence answered her.

Linda laughed softly. "You watched Beauty and the Beast with Alexandra Daddario instead of trying to sleep with her."

"I was emotionally compromised by prolonged exposure to animated musicals."

Linda shook her head before becoming more serious. "Maybe you didn't push because you cared more about whether she wanted you to."

Lucifer frowned. "She did want me."

"Wanting you and wanting sex at that specific moment aren't necessarily the same thing."

That made him pause.

Linda continued while watching his reaction. "You've spent a very long time being the person who sets the pace. You flirt first, kiss first, suggest sex first, and usually know exactly what someone desires because of your ability. Alexandra's already told you that people make assumptions about her based on her appearance. Maybe some part of you remembered that."

Lucifer's expression changed as memories of their first morning together returned.

Alexandra sitting in his bed, surprised that he'd stopped when she passed out.

The quiet thank you afterward.

The way she'd looked at him when she realized he'd respected a boundary she hadn't been conscious enough to state.

Lucifer looked down at his hands. "I didn't want her to think I expected anything simply because she'd invited me inside."

Linda nodded. "That sounds like your answer."

Lucifer looked up. "That's rather boring."

"It's respectful."

"Still boring."

Linda smiled. "You also might've been afraid."

Lucifer's head snapped toward her. "Absolutely ridiculous."

Linda didn't react to the protest. "When you initiate sex, you're usually extremely confident about the outcome. With Alexandra, this means more to you than casual sex does, which means there's something you could actually lose."

Lucifer's expression tightened.

"You might've wanted her to make the choice because then you wouldn't risk misreading what she wanted," Linda continued. "You'd know she was choosing you because she genuinely wanted to, rather than responding to your charm, your reputation, or whatever effect you naturally have on people."

Lucifer became unusually quiet.

That possibility hadn't occurred to him.

He'd spent most of his existence believing hesitation was weakness. Yet somewhere between Alexandra falling asleep in his bed, trusting him enough to call again, and spending an entire ridiculous day together, he'd begun caring about how she saw him.

He wanted her desire.

More surprisingly, he wanted her trust.

Lucifer finally exhaled and looked toward Linda. "So I'm becoming considerate."

Linda smiled. "Apparently."

"How horrifying."

"I think you'll survive."

Lucifer studied her for another second before his eyes slowly dropped toward the silver dress again.

A familiar smile returned.

"Speaking of frightening emotional developments, Doctor, you appear to have dressed rather aggressively for dinner."

Linda closed her notebook and placed it on the table beside her. "You specifically told me to wear something nice and keep the glasses."

"And you've exceeded expectations magnificently."

She stood and reached for her purse. "Therapy is finished. You're done analyzing Alexandra for tonight."

Lucifer rose as well and offered her his arm. "Excellent. I've had quite enough personal growth for one evening."

Linda slipped her hand around his arm before giving him an amused look. "Where are you taking me?"

Lucifer smiled as they walked toward the door. "Somewhere with excellent food, expensive wine, and absolutely no animated mermaids."

Linda laughed. "You liked The Little Mermaid."

Lucifer opened the door for her with an offended expression. "Alexandra has already begun spreading dangerous lies about me, and you've never even met her."

Linda stepped into the hallway with a smile. "You just spent an entire therapy session telling me about her."

Lucifer paused.

Then he sighed and followed her outside.

"Bloody therapists."

...

...

[Next Morning]

Linda woke with a satisfied smile already resting on her face.

For several seconds, she didn't open her eyes. She simply stayed where she was, warm beneath the sheets with one cheek resting against Lucifer's bare chest. His arm lay loosely around her waist, and the slow rise and fall beneath her head told her he was still asleep.

Last night had easily been the best date she'd ever experienced.

That realization made her smile widen.

Lucifer hadn't exaggerated when he'd promised excellent food and expensive wine. He'd driven her toward the marina without explaining anything, then walked her onto a private yacht that looked expensive enough to have its own tax bracket. Dinner had been waiting beneath soft lights overlooking the ocean, complete with a chef, candles, and a bottle of wine Lucifer casually mentioned had cost several thousand dollars.

Linda had nearly choked when he told her the price.

Lucifer had simply poured another glass.

What surprised her more was how much they'd actually talked.

Without her notebook between them or the familiar structure of a therapy session, the conversation had felt completely different. Linda had learned that Lucifer hated people who blamed him for their own choices, disliked being ignored more than being insulted, loved old blues music, genuinely enjoyed playing piano when nobody expected anything from him, and possessed extremely strong opinions about modern tequila.

He'd also learned more about her.

Her favorite restaurants, embarrassing college stories, the books she reread whenever she couldn't sleep, and the fact that she secretly loved terrible romantic comedies despite criticizing most of them afterward.

They'd talked until dinner disappeared and the city lights stretched across the water around them.

Then they'd spent an embarrassingly long time kissing inside the Corvette after Lucifer drove her home.

Linda remembered laughing when he claimed they were merely saying goodnight properly, even though neither of them had made any serious attempt to separate for nearly twenty minutes.

Eventually, they'd gone to the bedroom.

The kissing had continued, both of them had gotten extremely horny, and the night had ended with some of the best sex Linda could remember having in her entire life.

She definitely wasn't complaining.

Linda finally opened her eyes.

Morning light slipped through the curtains and spread softly across the bedroom. She remained against Lucifer's chest while listening to his heartbeat beneath her ear.

That alone still felt strange.

Whenever Lucifer spoke about being the Devil, immortality, angels, Hell, and Heaven, Linda usually approached the claims through the lens of psychology. She'd spent enough sessions exploring his identity to understand what those beliefs meant to him without needing to accept them literally.

Yet there were moments when being near him made certainty difficult.

The man seemed incapable of getting drunk regardless of how much alcohol he consumed. People behaved differently around him, especially when he asked them what they desired. Then there were the stories he told with such ridiculous confidence that Linda sometimes caught herself wondering whether he genuinely believed every impossible word.

She lifted her head slightly and looked at his face.

Lucifer Morningstar looked surprisingly peaceful while sleeping.

There was no smug smile, theatrical confidence, or playful arrogance. His features were completely relaxed, dark hair slightly messy against the pillow while one hand remained loosely curled near Linda's waist.

She watched him quietly.

It felt almost unfair that someone could look that good while sleeping.

Linda smiled and rested her chin against his chest.

"So this is what you look like when you finally stop talking," she whispered.

Lucifer didn't move.

Linda waited another few seconds before carefully lifting his arm away from her waist. She moved slowly, partly because she didn't want to wake him and partly because every muscle in her body seemed perfectly happy staying beneath the blankets for another several hours.

She sat near the edge of the bed and lazily stretched both arms above her head.

A satisfied groan escaped before she could stop it.

"Okay," Linda murmured to herself. "Definitely feeling last night."

She glanced over her shoulder toward Lucifer.

Still asleep.

Linda smiled again.

Their clothes were scattered across the bedroom in several directions, providing an embarrassingly accurate map of how quickly they'd stopped caring about keeping anything organized after entering the apartment.

Her silver dress was somewhere near the doorway.

One heel had ended up beneath a chair.

Her glasses rested safely on the bedside table, which she considered a small miracle given everything else.

Linda got up from the bed completely naked and stretched again. She ran her hands through her messy hair as she walked to the bathroom. On the way, she saw herself in the mirror and stopped for a moment. Her hair looked messy, and most of her makeup was gone. A satisfied expression was clearly on her face, one that no amount of training could hide.

Linda stared at her reflection for several seconds before quietly laughing.

"Best date ever," she admitted.

...

[20 minutes later]

Linda stepped out of the bathroom after a long, hot bath, a towel wrapped around her body and another twisted around her wet hair. She stopped short in the doorway. Lucifer stood in the middle of the bedroom, completely naked. Linda's eyes went toward his erect cock and then up at his face. She just loved the way he was looking at her with full of lust.

"Fresh out of the shower?" he asked.

Linda held his gaze for a second, then slowly unwrapped the towel from her body and let it drop to the floor. The one on her head followed a moment later, damp hair falling around her shoulders.

"What are you gonna do about it?" she asked.

Lucifer's smile widened. "Why? I'm going to fuck you, of course."

He said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Linda giggled and ran the short distance between them, jumping straight into his arms. Lucifer caught her easily, hands sliding under her thighs as he lifted her. Her legs wrapped tight around his waist. Their mouths met in a hungry kiss while he adjusted her against him, the head of his cock pressing against her already slick pussy.

He lowered her slowly, sinking into her inch by inch until she was fully seated on him. He loved the way her pussy gripped his cock.

Linda moaned into the kiss, arms locked around his neck.

Lucifer braced his feet. He grabbed her ass and began to thrust upward, fucking her while standing in the middle of the room.

Their kiss turned messy, tongues sliding, breaths ragged as Lucifer kept driving into her. Linda broke away just long enough to press her forehead against his.

"Fuck me like a slut," she whispered, voice thick with need. "Don't hold back."

Something in Lucifer tightened at the words. He had spent centuries taking what he wanted without hesitation, yet with Linda it always felt sharper, more deliberate. He wanted her pleasure as much as his own. He adjusted his grip on her thighs and gave her exactly what she asked for.

His hips snapped up harder, faster, the wet sound of their bodies filling the room. Linda's head tipped back, a broken moan tearing from her throat. The relentless pace drove her over the edge so suddenly her vision flickered. She clenched hard around him, thighs shaking, nearly blanking out as the orgasm ripped through her.

Lucifer held her through it, still buried deep, feeling every pulse of her body. When she finally sagged against him, breathing hard, he carefully pulled out. He watched as her juices slicked down. A low sound of pure satisfaction left him. Seeing her like that, marked by what he had just done to her, settled something deep in his chest.

He carried her to the bed and dropped her onto the mattress. Linda bounced once, then propped herself on her elbows, smiling up at him with flushed cheeks and messy hair. She licked her lips slowly and reached down, spreading herself open with two fingers so he could see exactly how wet and ready she still was.

She loved this position. Missionary let him cover her completely, control every thrust, pin her down and take her the way only he could. There was safety in that surrender, a quiet trust she rarely gave anyone else.

Lucifer reached for the glasses on the bedside table and gently slid them onto her face.

"Now, I'm going to fuck you hard," He said.

He settled between her legs, placed his cock on her pussy entrance, and pushed back inside in one smooth slam. Linda's arms wrapped around his shoulders as he began to move, deep and steady at first, then harder, claiming every inch of her. She met his thrusts. Her heels digging into his back, eyes locked on his through the glasses.

"Harder," she breathed. "Use me."

He did. The bed creaked beneath them as he fucked her with focused intensity, one hand braced beside her head, the other gripping her hip. Linda felt completely taken, completely wanted.

"Cumming!" Linda had an intense orgasm that made her nearly pass out. Her thighs trembled, but Lucifer continued to fuck her through it.

When he finally pulled out, she opened her mouth without being told.

"Give it to me," she said, voice rough. "Mark me with your cum."

"Tell me you are mine," Lucifer said.

"I'm yours, Lucifer... Only yours."

Lucifer stroked himself twice and came hard, thick ropes landing across her lips, cheeks, glasses and open mouth. Linda lifted her head, closed her lips around the tip, and sucked gently, swallowing every drop he gave her. Then with a loud pop, she pulled the cock out of her mouth.

She looked up at him and smiled.

"How do I look?" She asked, lowering her glasses slightly.

Lucifer looked down at her for a moment, taking in the glasses still perched on her nose, the mess across her lips and cheeks, and the satisfied little smile she wore like a prize.

"Like the best decision I've made all morning," he said. "Utterly ruined, thoroughly claimed, and somehow still one of the most beautiful women in this city."

He leaned closer and looked into her eyes.

"And if you keep looking at me like that, Doctor, I may have to start all over again."

"Can I get a ten minutes... Ohhh Fuck yeah! Shit I don't care," Linda was about to ask for a quick break, but Lucifer already pushed his cock into her pussy again with a devilish grin.

Now that I think about how come Linda's never mentioned or talked about lucifers scares from cutting off his wings

Xcalibur Xc

Here, she doesn't know yet. In the show she did actually talked to Lucifer about it many times after finding out the truth.

Just curious how would she not know when she's slepped with him at least a couple times i feel like you would see or at least feel them

Xcalibur Xc

Yeah, she has seen the scar, but as a therapist, Linda knew that forcing a patient to confront physical reminders of extreme trauma before they are ready can cause them to shut down. So, she is waiting for Lucifer to bring it up.
