It's the Season 2 finale of Too Many Tabs and we are closing the year with a Mrs. P's Book Club episode of Christmas Horror with a review of Secret Santa by Andrew Shaffer. This book has it all, a german demon doll, Fabian Nightingale, bangs, and a backdrop of 1986 New York City.

Violent Night is a staple in this house. This year we added Fatman. Walton m-effing GOGGINS is in that movie and I had no idea it existed until this week 🥲 it's a delightful Christmas action "funny bc it's done so seriously" movie. Only bummer is Mel Gibson is in it too. But I do recommend checking that bad boi out

Speaking of Krampus. On Saturday, I dropped by to see my parents at work in NoLibs and at the park next to their place of employment they were having a Krampus Parade. Such a delight to stumble across! Apparently it is a yearly tradition. You should check it out. There were so many excited kiddos there!!

Also, as an individual with German heritage, I feel obligated to inform you that a stollen is a cake that has fruit, not a fruit cake. It is more accurately a cakelike pastry with fruit and some sort of sugary frosting or glaze. It’s like a danish, but long. Aldi has some fire cherry stollen.

OMG Alex has never had fruit cake, next Christmas ya’ll should do the Sandy Jenkins Embezzlement Scandal, it’s right up your alley! Collin Street Bakery is a Fruit Cake Company from Texas (opened in 1896) I personally love their Apricot Fruit Cake, the Strawberry Chocolate one they have at Valentines, and at Mardi Gras they have this Praline cake that is amazing, they are a Texas tradition many Texans instead of those blue cookie tins full of sewing stuff have red Colin Street tins.
