I made my husband listen to the portion of this warm-up where you were talking about Matlock and he laughed his ass off because that is 100% us. If you haven't started watching it yet, it is totally worth it and has no business being as great as it is. Also, I would not be mad if we had some garden focused podcast/patron activities with Mrs. P. Here in the Pacific Northwest, I have deemed potatoes to be too much trouble but blueberries basically grow themselves. I'm too busy fighting the squirrels at the birdfeeder to worry about what they think about my blueberries lol. And we have what the guys at the bird shop referred to as "spicy squirrels" and they could give a shit about hot sauce, so I have to have a different approach. Lately it has mostly been seeing the squirrel heading for the feeder, and then letting the great Pyrenees out to scare the ass off them.

MY PEOPLE! Matlock- doooo it!! Kathy is amazing and they did a creative fun way to link the two series while still making it it's own thing. It feels like a millennial nod to a childhood full of Matlock. I binged the entire thing in one weekend! You'll love it Mrs. P!

Mrs. P and I would get along so well. I've been a grandma since the age of 14, when I learned to knit and was part of the knitting team at my high school. We did a knit off with another school. Our motto was knit or die trying lmao. We're taking a garden break this summer to fully beautify the yard, but usually we do a garden and then I can in the fall - tomato sauce, pasta sauce, apple sauce, jams, pickles. All of it. I also have chickens - COVER YOUR RUN. That's the best way to keep your chickens from getting bird flu. Also biosecurity like not wearing the shoes you wear to care for your chickens to other agricultural areas. Keeping chickens is not at all cheaper than buying eggs, but it is very fun.
