My sister‘s middle name is Ann yes I grew up Catholic my Mom is Irish my Dad is Italian but here is the twist my Mom did not grow up Catholic she became Catholic! So are you sure it isn’t just an Irish thing to do? Btw I chose two saints Anthony and Theresa. My parents couldn’t say anything to be because those were my godparent’s names and they passed away. So i basically used Catholic guilt against my own parents! 😅😂🤣 Btw I’m trans and identify as nonbinary too. 😜

I was upset by the way Mr. P. said that Adderall is akin to illegal drugs. I hear that kind of comment all the time, and it gets frustrating. After all, even coffee is a stimulant, yet no one thinks twice about it. I’ve even had people say to me, “Oh, you’re taking speed,” when they find out I take Adderall. I’m not looking for an apology—I just want you to understand why that kind of comparison can be upsetting. Am I beating a dead horse?Probably but after all I am a SRAC. 😜

I hyphenate my last name and don’t use the married name. Did it to 100% piss off the MIL. Also have the confirmation name. However, I mostly just use all 5 to confuse people. Nothing like showing up for first day of work and saying “My name Catherine Ann Elizabeth L***** M******, but you can call me Cat” but my best friend is trans and she just calls me “hey you” lol (also what’s up with all us catholic school educated Catherine ann’s being red heads?)

I had a full hysterectomy last Christmas, and we had to do a surgery "orientation", where they gave us this special protein powder/carbohydrate drink. It was kind of like drinking vanilla flavored glue? Anyway, I used it in place of milk with raisin bran or something like that to try to get it down. Call me crazy, but it seemed much more palitable 😂 never tried it with super sweet cerials because it was already so sweet on its own. So anyway. Not sure where I was going with that, but that's an option maybe?

Unfortunately, the Soylent protein shakes are excellent. NOT THE POWDER. The powder is terrible. But the premade shakes are genuinely good, especially the chocolate and mint chocolate ones. I'm a sweet tooth and weak when it comes to eating junk, so they've been a good way to "trick" myself into eating something reasonably good for me.

Barebell protein bars are top tier. They don't taste powdery and actually taste like a candy bar. Fairlife chocolate protein shakes from Sam's club are the best drinks I've found. Also laughed at roller skate car as I have nicknamed my Honda fit the same thing 🤣 always invisible to every vehicle on the road.

That shit in Florida is called a Palmetto Bug (like palm tree) & they’re literally just LARGER COCKROACHES. There are also “love-bugs” which come out in the spring & are almost always attached in pairs, constantly mating as they FLY AROUND. You rarely see a single one. And cars hit them constantly, regular water doesn’t get them off, & if you don’t get them off quick enough they damage the paint on the car. Every goddamn year.

You guys need to start hard boiling eggs. I eat them all the time for protein shots. It’s even recommended by my therapist when I’m in stressful situations my digestion shuts down and I forget to eat… Healing from CPTSD I have to have protein on the ready at any given moment and hard boiled eggs are pretty much the easiest, most portable healthiest and most efficient

I just tried the Orgain plant protein powder and it was so chalky! And the Pure Protein bars aren't bad. I'll have to check out that Vega brand and try it.
