I would love to hear Mr. Pearlmania's comments on Hamilton. I'll be here for gathering of the Huns. I also have not watched any of the Avatar things (movie or TV show). Are they worth watching? I heard the movie is like Dances with Wolves with blue people. 🤷 BTW I love the Pedialyte freezer pops for hot flashes, and they too are locked up at Walmart. So annoying.

Ok - Hear me out. My kids AND boyfriend are all music theatre nerds (like, IN THEM and their entire personality nerds). I absolutely hate musicals. I want facts, logic, and dialogue without having to try to interpret lyrics that don’t make sense. HOWEVER. I love Hamilton. I can’t even explain why… I listen to heavy/alt metal. Every. Day. But Hamilton has consistently been in my top 5 Spotify wrapped ever since I saw it 😂

He's said in past EPs he was diagnosed with ADHD in the 90s. I've been binging all the warm ups, after parties, and the vibing with the food idiot. A lot of stuff that Mr. P says in these EPs is all stuff I relate to and I'm autistic. ESPECIALLY vibing with the food idiot. I know they both play up ignorance on purpose, but genuinely it helps so much for him to ask so many questions and to have Mrs. P explain the science of cooking. It makes so much more sense to my brain to know all these things I don't technically need to know. I feel like I can cook better understanding WHY I have to let food rest or cook longer. Plus every time I learn a new food/eating habit from Alex, I'm like oh literally same 😂 I don't remember the episode but he got roasted for eating plain hotdogs. He's just like me fr 😂 he's also talked a lot about food textures which are a huge thing for me and plenty of autistic people.

Imodium used to be sold in bigger quantities loose in bottles for the IBS girlies (shoutout). They stopped doing it that way because Imodium can be used to ease opioid withdrawal symptoms, and can also mimic the effects of opioids at very high doses, so folks would take so much that they would get severe bowel obstructions, cardiac issues, etc. Of course, there are no limits to how much you can buy. I kept an old Imodium bottle, so I buy the blister packs, take all the pills out and put them in the old bottle. I need them things READY to GO.

The issue I had with the Napoleon episode was how Mr P just briefly mentioned lord byron and that he wrote books BUT skipped over how it was rumoured that he spread syphilis all over europe. I am a bit biased though since he specifically wrote a piece about how much he hated Malta

Hamilton watch along! I have a hilarious story about my beloved departed Aunt Laurie taking me and my cousins to see the show in Chicago in 2017 and how into the show she got. She was unfamiliar with the history or the show and really enjoyed it!

I think this is why it shouldn’t be the same day or time every month. That it should change to accommodate different time zones and work schedules. I know other patreons do that—The Dollop does it because thy have a lot of fans in Australia. I think it’s worth doing to get a different mix of people each time and be more inclusive.
