A building on my college campus, The College of New Jersey, used to be named Loser Hall (pronounced Lo-jur). Then some history students did some digging on him and it turns out he tried to re-segregate public schools and some other racist stuff, so my senior year the college remand that hall to Trenton Hall lol

I know it's just what you do but still, thank you thank you thank you for the shoutout. Just a couple of millennial dads in thier (midlife/entire life?) crisis phase doing our best at this podcasting thing. The show is about video games! Every episode we play a new "under $10 game" (it isn't always but we try) and then talk about family life and media while we play and then review the game. I still would absolutely love it if Mr. OR Mrs. P came on the show (female representation in gaming matters. Also we haven't played repo on the show yet, just saying) but also any Pearlmaniaverse people are also welcome! Its been a genuinely rewarding experience doing this podcast just from the people and new friends we have gotten to meet! And we are always looking for guests to come on and share a treasured game with us!

Also to Mrs P's point, whenever my dad goes to visit his sister and 14 yo niece and he takes his niece somewhere to shop or eat, she has him going basically the next county so she won't run into anybody from school that may take a picture of her. Several men in my family are Masons and talking about Masonic temples triggered memories of my preteen and early teen years as a Job’s Daughter ; a weirdly non-religious cult of young girls that do ceremonial religious looking rituals every month. My hometown's masonic temple was continously rented out to my dance school. They had a bowling alley that was tarped up to prevent us from going in it. Such an oddly old building. For reference im turning 30 this year and that building is still up but the dance school shut down.

Gotta add to the difference between dirt and soil - as a kid in Arizona I didn't know what soil was, but I knew it sure as hell wasn't what the ground there was made of. All I knew of the outdoors was tan colored compacted dirt, yellowish grass that stabbed your feet if you tried to walk on it, and citrus trees.
