"I Am What I Am" was from the Broadway musical "La Cage aux Folles" which was based on a 1973 French play. La Cage the play then became a French-Italian film and that film inspired THE BIRDCAGE! (Phew!)

A lot of people like to say mean things about Rhode Island, but it’s pretty great! And there is a Rhode Island style chowder with clear broth instead of creamy or tomato based. We also have coffee syrup for coffee milk, a great food scene, beautiful beaches and plenty of New England charm. And our capital city, Providence, just elected a democratic socialist in the democratic primary.

First off - Popeye identifies as amphibious and is both genders. Secondly, I was born in Warwick RI, moved away, moved back in my teens, and moved to Philly area. A lot of Rhode Island is like coal counties (without the tourism). Very poor areas, good food, and mansions. Also 2nd beach is best beach (in my memory).

It’s interesting that you bring up the idea of incels as being sort of an “evil version” of asexuals. Because there is this guy Scott Galloway who insists on basically referring to incels as “asexual” and phrases it as “asexual men are the greatest threat to society” when not meaning actual asexual people. So, aces including myself are eternally in opposition to this kind of rhetoric because it paints actual people who identify with asexuality (who are very much not incels) in a bad light. I don’t think this is what you were doing here, but I wanted to throw that out there as a point of caution with rhetoric and how it’s used that you might not know about.

Unpopular opinion: I respect Whitney Houston as an artist, but absolutely cannot stand listening to her. While I fully acknowledge her talent, her voice is not for me. I hated "I Will Always Love You" until the day I found out it was a Dolly cover and heard the original.
