The third installment of Mrs. P's Book Club is here. This week, Mrs. Pearlmania retells "The Girl In Red" by Christina Henry.

It's a modern retelling of the red riding hood fable set in a pandemic fueled dystopia. Mrs. P explains it better than all that.

When I visited friends in Philly in 2018, I actually managed to squeeze in a visit to the Mütter Museum, it has got to be one of the coolest collections I've ever seen. Like, a very close second to the Royal Tyrell Museum.

Just listening to this today and got to the part about library passes to various museums, and wanted to mention that my library does this as well! I’m in NJ so idk if this is a regional thing, but everyone should check with their libraries cause this could already be available for you

I just finished the podcast and was going to recommend Red Rising, but it definitely doesn’t have any decent men in it and nothing is good. 🤣 I don’t remember if there are any bisexuals in it, so it might fit one of the requirements.

Currently listening to this one in the middle of nowhere Iowa, pull into a gas station for some E88 and there's no one behind the counter. Immediately spooked because Mrs. P was just describing the body in the first store and then the clerk pops out of the back cooler with a big ol "Hi".
