Had to stop just to comment that The Venture Brothers is truly one of the greatest shows ever. I’m going to have to go rewatch all of that and The Beat Little Whorehouse in Texas. Dolly is our Queen. This was definitely one of the shows my parents let us watch. I'm around your age and grew up with my mother watching 700 Club daily (we don't talk anymore lol). While I love following fundie snark content, it actually blew my mind that someone hadn't heard of Pat Robertson until later in life. In a good way. It gave me a little hope lol. I was a season ticket holder with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra for years. I would attend 4 to 6 shows a year a t Regent University. I was banned permanently in 2011 for walking up to Pat, flipping him the bird, and telling him to f off all the way to hell. Totally worth it.

Hey, thanks Alex for covering this. During the news of Pat Robertson dying, I was experiencing fevers of 102⁰, turns out it was sepsis, and I don't remember much from then. I have since recovered and it was a joy to hear the good news again in a time when I can remember things. I drive for work all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Y'all's podcast is just long enough for most of my gigs; I've listened to three episodes today while delivering luggage to people. Thank you for the show and congratulations on the new addition!
