For the first time EVER Mr. and Mrs. P welcome a guest LIVE into the studio. His Name Was Dusk makes it a throuple for this lore dump on the secret cult behind the founding of Celestial Seasonings.

I had begun having SEVER insomnia around 10 years old, my mom gave me "medicine" telling me she couldnt give it to me all the time or it would stop working. It really helped me. In my 20s I found out it was just Sleepy Time tea 😆 I still use it to this day as it Pavlovs my ass into sleep

My father in law is a SDA, luckily he's in another country so I don't have to deal with it. The best thing about it really is the term "The Great Disappointment" which just makes me chuckle every time I hear it, it's a very grand way of saying "ah, man"

My ex's sister converted to SDA, and honestly, it's tragic to watch someone do that to themselves. Her kids are legitimately terrified of the devil, like, as a very real life threat. They're so messed up.

I felt like the series hit a lull around ghost story that took me a while to get past. I haven't read the two newest books are they worth it?

Ghost story was definitely my least favorite. But I really enjoyed Skin Game and Peace Talks. Battleground was good too although I felt it was too much action, not enough plot. There were a couple good plot twists in Battleground that make it worth a read.

It does help if you read them back to back and treat it as one large book ( jim wrote it that way publisher told him it was too big and he had to split it) Also sitting in my cube at work trying not to freak out as two of my favorite things just causally collide.
