Congrats on the little Pearlman🖤 This podcast got me through the last trimester and postpartum (baby now 7 months) so it feels very Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man meme listening to this Announcement. As for the pregnancy nausea, Mrs. P. I threw up from the moment I peed on the test until the baby was out of me (literally, I threw up throughout my labor and delivery too) 24/7, 34 weeks. I thought I would spend the rest of my life on the Pepcid and bread diet. Relief is on the horizon!

My bestie and I regularly talk about the disconnect between people currently and their past. We're all walking around with no anchors in time, no roots, and it's seriously fucked us up culturally and individually. Modern life is really not great for us as a species. My grandmother was Acadian (and Catholic) and fluently spoke French. She wasn't allowed to teach my dad or his brothers how to speak French. My grandfather, her husband, was English (and protestant), didn't speak French, and didn't want her and the boys to be able to talk about him behind his back, so he forbade it. He was also disowned by his family for marrying a French Catholic.
