ROFL at you guys forgetting his real name is Glenn Howerton (G). Yea i don't know why they made it so obvious he was cake. Maybe they thought most fans wouldn't catch on and the joke would also be that they fooled the audience, but I thought it was pretty obvious. I think they should've just had Danny lying in the bed until the reveal, though I'm sure fans then would've complained about the bait and switch, lol. Maybe they should've just kept it better angles and distance and not shown the cake from more obvious views.

I think everyone knew Danny looked strange in the bed. My friends and I were watching it - one of us kept saying "Dude, that is NOT Danny Devito". It wasn't until just before the reveal that we all collectively realized. Maybe we're stupid, but I think most people didn't pick up that he was cake in the first 5 minutes lol.

honestly I don't remember if I caught on immediately either or if i'm misremembering after seeing so many reactions, lol. Part of me remembers catching on early, part of me remembers wondering if they used a doll for Danny and I thought maybe he just didn't want to lie there or wasn't available for filming or something.
