To clarify the point, Mary was not “repossessed” she was triggered by her past issues: 1) the situation w/the Romans; 2) and of course the demon. Like our modern-day people who have had traumatic pasts, can get triggered and go back to their old life. Remember the conversation she had with Ramah where she stated, she feels weak about not being able to “shake” her fear when the Romans and then the demon-possessed Man appeared. It will make more sense in the next episode.

Oops I responded too soon 🥰! Erika, you explained it Mary’s triggered state well. Great conversation, ladies! Having had an issue that I kept returning to, I understand Mary as well. And I was (and still am) a Believer. My final “deliverance” was the realization of who I REALLY am in The Messiah-Christ. But when you’re in the struggle, it is so shameful and you get to the point of not feeling worthy of belonging to Our Savior. You can’t accept God’s love. It’s a painful journey! Again, great conversation!
