Screentime with Phil and Erika

Hi all! This series is a bit of bonus. As we prepare for arrival of baby, you'll start seeing few more of these limited series start popping up to fill in a few gaps we have in the schedule moving forward. Everything else remains the same. Hope you enjoy!

glad ya'll are rewatching/watching this series. hopefully, you'll watch the pacific and/or generation kill which are both limitied series and maybe not as good as this series but still very good shows.

most people havent watched generation kill so for context its based off a book written by a reporter that followed a battalion during the 2003 iraq invasion

Paul Phelan

Sobel's replacement was Lt. Meehan (as Col. Sink tells Sobel when he told him about his transfer). Lt. Meehan was the guy in the tent with Winters when they used a compass to work out that their destination was going to be Normandy. In Episode 2, Lt. Meehan is on the plane that got hit in the engine and burst into flames before crashing, so he was killed along with everyone else on that plane, and that led to Winters being the next in line to command Easy Company. Buck Compton (actor Neal McDonough) who was in the jeep with Winters when Winters was telling him he shouldn't gamble with his men and whom you thought was Sobel's replacement, was a new platoon leader within Easy Company at the same level as Winters (until Winters replaced Lt. Meehan on D-Day).
