Vallie and the slip dress (Patreon)
Content
A Sunday morning in Paris, Vallie and I met up and created a number of different looks together. This set was taken at the end of our time together, we had promised one another to take some images that would be socially friendly, but that soon translated into a series that saw her long dress being slowly removed in a slightly awkward way. The resulting images leaned into Vallie's own creative style that, her inherent curiosity was very visible as she navigated this concept. I think it is important to stay on this side of art nude photography. I'm not interested in sexualising the model, but favour letting their own expression tell the story. So these are very real and honest images of Vallie who I'll always say is more human than traditional model. In many ways that is her appeal, the honesty of what she brings.
