Laure on a cold balcony in Paris (Patreon)

Laure had brought these awesome boots and I knew we had to use them. It was her idea to pair them with the black gloves and nothing else. There is a fuller set taken in doors that I'll share later, but I want to share this one image which I couldn't resist editing. I'd asked if she wouldn't mind standing outside on the balcony. It was cold so I was expecting her to say no, but to my surprise she was more than happy to do so and seemed to enjoy the bravado that came with it.Being confident in your own skin is obviously important to pose like this. But I think the outfit - if you can call boots and gloves an outfit - adds to that confidence. This image was taken thirty minutes after we met each other. I didn't know it then, but a month later we'd be shooting again in a chateau in Normandy. Laure is a wonderful person and a great photographer as well.
