TAYLOR SWIFT - Reputation Tour #1

Reputation tour is just so much fun and so epic! I hope the long pond sessions for folklore was requested before the eras tour. If it hasn’t please do tell so I can request it myself!!

I have Lover next for concerts (the Paris one) followed by folklore and then Eras. I’m walking him through everything chronologically so the Eras have the most impact. Too bad there’s no Red concert movie…

I just love how she pauses the song in “Gorgeous” to put all her backup singers and dancers on the big screen. Giving each of them a little moment in the spotlight where everyone is cheering for them. Nothing annoys me more in concert videos than when they cut that credit out of the show…and on YouTube, there are a bunch of versions of this with a messy patch putting the song back together to do exactly that. You’d think that putting it in the MIDDLE of a song, at least that would make people leave the credit in, but they just don’t have that same respect for the people working with Taylor as Taylor herself… It also hits me every time how JOYFUL she is when she sees her fans happy. Like those first few moments in the documentary where she said everyone was so happy to be there. Those moments when she goes from badass screw-the-haters mode to looking out at the crowd like she’s never been happier… I love that. I’ve really been looking forward to this one. You needed all the Kanye drama and #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty nonsense from the documentary to get a good understanding of this album, I think. And ultimately her politics boil down to being kind to people the best way she knows how and telling people to vote. Only saying who /she’s/ voting for when she can back it up with a list of policy choices. (Like voting against reauthorization of the violence against women act, which I don’t see how anybody could object to that…) So I don’t think y’all differ quite so much as you think... like you said, it’s all about not worrying about what other people are doing with their lives and focusing on your own life and joy, right? But let’s leave politics out of it 😂

This show was awesome for sure my friend.. I really enjoyed it and you are right, we needed the Kanye crap and all the other to really get this one.. now, you are right as well that we probably differ only slightly in the Political Realm, I was completely against that candidate that she was backing in Tenn. because of certain policies that they wanted ( Nearly Communist Policies if you look all of them up).. No Way!! But, other than that I do love that she wants people to get out and vote for sure.. That is awesome!! Now, our new Paron and Krewe Member Jenny asked me if Folklore and the Long Pond Sessions were before the Eras Tour, I told her you were lining me out with all the Taylor stuff and I thought you had said that those were before Eras.. Was I Right?
