Taylor Swift .. Reputation Tour #2

Those were her opening acts! So definitely not as big as she is, and I think it was nice to give them the main parts of her biggest charting song while she sang backup vocals for them. Plus two calls for applause and the hug. That’s how I imagine you make an opening act feel valued, you know? As I’ve heard just listening to stories from City of Sound, SOME bands have egos so big they get in a tiff over the opening acts getting too much applause… Also note how she was over her own layered vocals while in the air so her backup vocalists could take a break while getting ready for the next song. And how occasionally the vocalists just stand or sit instead of having to dance the whole time like her, but they still got up close camera shots and stuff. And it’s easier to sing when you aren’t dancing—that’s a fact. So it improves the sound quality for the audience and more dancers can dance to make up for it, but Taylor’s out here running across the big stage to lean over and wave hi to everyone. (In the Eras tour there’s a video of her taking a moment between verses to single out a fan and mouth ‘Your outfit is so cute!’—among others where she singles particular fans out because she noticed they needed assistance. Like a fan holding up a sign for water, so she called out to a crew member to make sure they got some. Or a fan who was getting harassed by a puffed up security guard, and in between words in her song she shouted at the security guard to leave the gal alone. I’m trying to make a compilation for you, but there are so many good ones… she clearly cares SO much about everybody in that arena) Anyhow, I just respect that a lot. People who have been to the concert all seem to post, “Maybe I’m being delusional, but I swear she looked RIGHT at me specifically—and I was in the obstructed view seats!” or what have you. (Obstructed view = discounted tickets where you can see most but not all of the stage, and they have big screens to show you whatever’s hidden by the sets and stuff. According to people who got those seats.) Apparently if you sit there, Taylor take an extra moment to wave to your section before the show and also during the closing Era of the concert. And that’s for the absolute cheapest seats in the house, not the VIPs… Just saying. Taylor also has never ever charged for a meet and greet, and meeting her has nothing to do with how much you spend on tickets…having been to conventions where some actors were charging $300 for a photograph together… and considering that’s what a middle ViP package at the Eras Tour cost… Well. I guess that’s enough all on its own. There was a big delay between me watching parts one and two because my daughter got home from school, haha. Let’s see if I can watch another part before falling asleep on my phone…

HAHA!! Glad you and your daughter are all well my friend.. I absolutely agree that the experience of this whole show was so cool, and that is exactly what I mean by saying that she makes the effort to see each and every fan as close as possible.. So Awesome!! and I kinda thought that the 2 Ladies may have been smaller Artists, I think that is so Amazing that she brought them up for some good times with her..
