January Eat' Em Up Progress + Convention News! (Patreon)

Hey guys! Hope the start of the new year has treated you guys well. It's been pretty busy for us - lots of unexpected IRL stuff popping up, both good and myeh, but we're working through it! For the game dev news: We've started work on some of the effects for the Sylvin. It should come as no surprise that that is the next character to be worked on since they served as our punching bag for testing. The Cheribrum still needs a down special attack and eventual further tweaks that will need to come once more characters are developed and their niche can be balanced around.

Here is a quick preview of the special attack projectiles for some of the moves they will be using. The Sylvin will have a certain space magic quirk to their moves along with some other attacks that use their horns and claws. The goal is to make them feel more powerful then the Cheribrum but less maneuverable as a trade off.Also included are the initial concept sketches for key poses for the Sylvin's attacks. For Convention News: (From Kuda)Early January, I got a surprise email asking if I was interested in a Dealer's Den booth off the waitlist for Furnal Equinox - and I accepted! But that's meant a mad scramble to get merchandise created and ordered on time... so we've been hard at work! This is the first time I've gotten physical merch made for sale, and while I've vended at virtual cons quite a few times at this point, this is my first time vending at an in-person convention. Biggest item on the list is an official Altea dakimakura! I really hope it turns out well - here's a preview of it! It will be available for sale at my DD booth!

There's also going to be a handful of other merch, mainly themed towards my VRChat avatar work + hoodiedragon stuff. But I'm looking forward to running my first ever booth!
