I think it makes total sense to do the majority of the comic digitally, HOWEVER, if some parts that maybe play in a different age or dimension or whatever, and also some super impactful full page illustrations, were done traditionally, I think it would really elevate the comic to the next level, visually speaking. I absolutely LOVE all the overly detailed full page illustrations of important scenes in my favorite comics, and I personally want to be able to have pages that I can just gaze at for a while, until continuing to read. And if for example these full page illustrations were done traditionally as well, it would just be next level. Regarding the mixing of digital and traditional, if done right I think it can really add something. For my own personal project I am thinking about using two completely different digital styles. One more realistic and detailed style for the charachters and backgrounds in the "real world", and another one, that is much more expressive and abstract, and looks more traditional, to visualize the charachters dreams and emotions, thoughts of other charachters that the protagonist "reads between the lines" and such. I haven't gotton as far as testing these ideas yet, but I like the way it looks in my head. I guess what I want to say with this, is to share some example ideas of how mixing different styles/media could be implemented and also express how interested I am in the result you will come up with, if you attempt this. I think if you want to make it work, you will find YOUR way. I think it is definitely possible.

Thanks for the reassuring assessment !<3 I'm definitely leaning towards at least trying to go the traditional route for some part of the comic, I think you're right that it would add such a unique value. And I think since one of my strengths as an artist is doing both, it would only make sense to make use of that on my main project :D

You can totally start the comic traditional and then switch back. One of my favorite Japanese comics Vagabond(by the great Inoue) starts of all of his manga volumes in watercolor for the first 3 to 5 introduction pages then switches to his ink black and white style for the rest. I always loved when he did this cuz it really made me feel like I'm starting a new adventure or movie arc in the main character Masashi's life. It's quiet beautiful and this technique would be breathing taking in your style.
