Valeās multum! There are various ways to express that something is important, but a lovely way is cordī esse, literally to be to the heart, which is the mind in the Roman way of understanding anatomy.

Mihi cordī est sermō Latīnus. The Latin language is important to me, I care about it. Notice the lovely double dative, a frequent idiomatic complement in Latin: to me to the heart is Latin speech.

Cordī mihi est salūs necessāriōrum meōrum. The health of my loved ones is important to me.
