Index of all recordings

N.B. This and future recordings will use the Pompeian variant of Lucian Pronunciation, for which go to this link.

This now out-of-print edition of the Ancient Greek Assimil course is a fun and hopefully helpful resource!

The audio recordings are intended as a benefit and thank you to my Jūstīniānēī tier supporters and above.

I was silly to try to bypass your audio, a few weeks ago, and just think I could learn with Modern Greek pronunciation even if that is a valid convention. I've come to the point where I'll even put my Modern Greek on hold until I've ascended a great deal up Mt. Parnassus and almost to the very top. The more I listen to pitch accent and phonemic vowel length done well, the more I fall in love with it. I've finally realized I need to stop treating Ancient Attic Greek like Modern Demotic if I want to truly bring the language to life and accurately represent a language who's script represents the spoken language, not the other way around. Χάριτάς οὖν πολλὰ σοὶ ἔχω!

Hi Alex! Certainly any convention is fine, but I too have come to prefer Classical Attic Pronunciation of late — it has a number of challeges associated with it, but I hope to provide more resources in the future that make it easier for folks to attempt it. Thanks for the comment and your support! Χάριν σοι οἶδα.

Yes sir, I heartily look forward to recordings in nothing but Classical Attic pronunciation!
