Good Denizen! Here are three fun old bits from the archives:

• A self-ad for Ray's vanity label, Prime Time Records, which ran in issue #7 of Roast Beef's 'zine Man Why You Even Got To Do A Thing.

• Some theoretical dog-themed bumper stickers Téodor graphick-designed

• Some 90s style humor Téodor also graphick-designed

It's kind of a podge this week as I prepare for a trip to France and Spain (I'm tagging along on Lauren's work trip). You will be kept awash in content all the while; I will also be photo-documenting the trip for the Author's Tier, if you want to use voyeurism as an excuse to peek in there for a month.

Happy I've Been Doing This For Basically A Quarter Century Day!

All those bumper stickers, yet no mention of Jesus being more like a basenji. Interesting.

"Voodoo Spaniel" sounds like the name of a raw new punk band from the greater PDX area.

Also, I love that "Tina" is the only track on Ray's album that doesn't have a parenthetical. There's just too much to say about Tina to sum up the song in a parenthetical.

Téodor's foto of David Paymer instantly and randomly reminded me of his (Paymer's, not Téodor's) lovable asshole character in State and Main, a movie that is barely older than Achewood, yet has, unlike Achewood, produced very little new material since the dawn of the century, and still, much like Achewood, occupies a special corner in my heart.
