Friends of the Library! The Achewood holiday shop is once again open — brimming with new original artwork and apparel, as well as a few old favorites:

Please come in and have a look! As a Patreon supporter, you're getting this invitation before I open the shop to the public. I'm standing by packing orders as you read this, and all systems are go. Thank you so much for your support!

There are over 80 pieces of new original art, four new shirts, beanies, and a few other familiar product lines. The overall assortment has been streamlined this year while I rebuild the warehouse and reimagine the product line to focus on the things I love offering most, like visual art and unique apparel.

Thanks Wizeman! I did a run of embroidered achewood ball caps back in the old times, and they sold like cold crud on a dirty bumper, but I have a new hat press and that means there's a new dawn coming.

Man did I ever underestimate demand here, I saw the email and picked out 5-6 pieces of art I'd put next to my (oh man) 18 year old signed strip and figured I'd circle back to it later. Seems I was not the only one as they're all spoken for!

Can't post a picture but "Everything I draw accidentally ends up lookin' like a dick!" is a top 10 Achewood line for me and thankfully I don't think my kids have ever bothered to read the words or even look that closely at a fairly prominently displayed strip (though the autograph's just about faded).

If people are temporarily queasy, I feel like I have achieved something. But I must ask — what causes this icky feeling? It’s genuinely interesting to me as a phenomenon that it’s unpleasant for people.

It's cause to introspect, when a long squirrel wrenches the psyche. A deep chunk of my brain gets tickled by elongated articulated all-black things. Some twinge of that overlaid with the greater horror of Todd clearing entire panels worth of interaction without ingesting or expelling anything horrible. Primitive brain and the more advanced part (the part that has perceptions and expectations about cartoon squirrels) on alert.

I appreciate the careful staging of your nattily dressed mannequins! I like how each one has their own hat. Also, if those are Lyle-branded aviators, I want them. As your budget allows, please make more tees available for us slow ones.

I was interested in more sizes in the GoF ringer tee, but I knew I was dragging ass on ordering. I've gotten a couple things from the store that I really wanted, so no stress. Also the "Pleasant Diversion" mug that I drink my coffee from every morning for untold years now is one of my favorite possessions. I love how you drew the candle flame.
