Yes, very excited for you to continue with season 4 and private practice! Impressed that you remembered the name Naomi from the one episode! Yeah with the vibe difference i once described it as Greys is like an all you can eat buffet and Private Practice is like a meal at a nice restaurant. Both good in their own right but switching between them is weird. I can see why you thought Cooper and Violet were siblings. They definitely did have that vibe going on with their friendship. The guy playing cooper played Billy’s dad in Agatha All Along too! I don’t know how many times i can say i hate Burke but just… urgh. George and Izzie again. Poor Callie, i kinda wish she caught them just so she could be sure what she suspects is true. Poor Meredith being the one to tell Thatcher. Honestly yet again situations like this is why people shouldn’t be doctors on people they have relationships with. Fuck Thatcher though. Honestly also it annoys me that Derek, Webber and Bailey didn’t step in when he slapped her. I don’t care if that’s her dad in that moment she’s a doctor dealing with the family of a patient and he should be treated like any other relative of a patient and they should have stepped in and security called etc. I think i could give Thatcher some grace if he just yelled at her or even if he just blamed her for it, which he did anyway, but i can’t give him any grace for slapping her personally.

So happy you're doing Private Practice, I love that show soo much. There was a time where i was watching it more than Greys, but it has been a while since i watched it so I'm curious if my opinion of it changes. I'm good with Greysverse, it does make more sense than Shondaverse considering there are other shows. There are some Greys and PP crossovers, happy to offer advice on watch order if you need but i assume you already have someone :) I completely agree with you about Kisses in TV and movies. I am not surprised you thought Violet and Cooper were siblings, they have that vibe. Thatcher slapping Meredith was too far, even though he was grieving that was too far.

I agree with you on the slap. A TINY bit of slack on his being angry and upset, but not on the slap. That was over the line. He could yell at Meredith, blame her, storm out of building and I would say “He is upset and not in his right mind”. But hitting a woman, his daughter. No. That’s too far for me. I liked the backdoor pilot but I feel the show is a little better than it’s portrayed here.as I remember it (was a long time ago). I honestly don’t remember who got recast with a couple exceptions that I remember. The Izzy George thing is wrong. Break it off. Either with Izzy or Cali. One or the other. Done. I wasn’t angry at Burke in the conversation with his mother. He was saying the Cristina had gone above and beyond in supporting him by going along with all the crap both Burkes Mother and Cristina’s mother (lets not forget a lot of this crap is from Cristina’s own family as well). And he was angry at his mom for, in his opinion, trying to sabotage his marriage to Cristine. He was defending Cristina. Yeah, I didn’t get the weird look Derek gave Meredith at end when she was drinking with Izzy and Karev.
