Just Jayy1

Heyy what’s up you guys Master Jay here, yes we know who you are! Hey I can finally stop making that joke because you’ve seen the episode it comes from. A belated Happy Shannaversary to Shan, all these years later and still going strong. The scene in which Wilfred attempts to blind a Dalek using a paintball gun was suggested by Bernard Cribbins himself. You see Bernard is a legend, he suggested it because he was in Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (not gonna lie it’s garbage but it was made back in 1966 and we don’t even acknowledge it as being cannon) BC thought it would provide comic relief in between heavy exposition. He also ad-libbed asking Rose to swap guns after she blows up the Dalek. The staircase which Donna is sitting on at the Shadow Proclamation is the same staircase on which Owen Harper fights death in TW episode Dead Man Walking. There was a plan in one draft to have Sparrow & Nightingale (the DVD shop from season 3) to be crushed by a Dalek ship, but this scene wasn't filmed. Instead we got English lads looting a high street shop, world ends we steal laptops and PC equipment- sounds about right. Rose almost didn't appear due to Billie Piper's honeymoon clashing with the original recording dates. She married Laurence Fox (a walking penis) in 2007 The episode ended during the regeneration because RTD wanted to create the "biggest, most exciting cliffhanger in Doctor Who", and to differentiate the scene from previous regenerations, I shit you not I couldn’t wait to talk to my friends about this episode when it aired I had to wait an entire week for a resolution and that was when I started thinking about how much Rose had changed in the last two years, what’s going on with Donna, good television shows stay with you and pop into your head randomly when your showering, it’s Timey Wimey like that. To keep the return of Davros secret, the character was referred to as "The Enemy" or "Dave Ross" among the crew and was kept anonymous on the shooting scripts as much as possible; however, the Radio Times called the secret "one of the worst-kept ... in television history". Julian Bleach (Davros) described his interpretation as a twisted mad scientist/ evil genius and describing the character overall as "a cross between Hitler and Stephen Hawking" - he’s the creator of the Daleks and only Sarah Jane had met him before. The Doctor and Rose's reunion was filmed in Penarth town centre, (Wales) in front of two hundred people; and of bloody course with DW being the most popular show on television this scene was leaked onto the Internet and reported in the next day's edition of 'The Sun' newspaper. David Tennant and Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper) would later co-star in Broadchurch and The Hack. Love it. Love it. Love it. Three roses from me. Absolute cinema *hands up* 8.78 million viewers when this aired and we were left raging for 7 days straight foaming at the mouth wondering what was gonna happen next. How was it for you?

Zoot!

I really really really wanted you to get to this point with DW just to see your reaction to this one and the next. I'm so happy right now, been binging to catch up :)

Yess you finally got to this!! I have been waiting since day one for you to get to these episodes. To me this two parter was pretty much Doctor Who version of Avengers Endgame when watched this as a kid. And that cliffhanger traumatized me as a kid, cause David Tenant as the Doctor was my hero, so seeing that happen to him shocked me to my core.
