Yes, I use voice mail. I get at least 4 or 5 messages a week. And I’m retired, so none of these are from work. I also do not have children, i do have a Goddaughter I love like my own. I am not an elderly gay woman, jus an elderly straight man. Both my parents and two of my brothers reached a point where they were on machines keeping them alive, but I was not the one that made the call on unplugging any of them. Something they don't show is that in many cases the persons lif signs don't stop immediately. My one brother kept breathing for 26 hours after they unplugged his machine. The father would not orphan both children. His daughter was dying, he chose to be with her which means he will die as well. So his son will be the only orphan. What I don't get is why they didn't put the father in a isolation suit so he could be with his daughter without getting infected.

I use voicemail but only the iPhone visual voicemail transcript thing. So i just read what it says and know if i need to call someone back. I’m the head of IT at work so i get quite a few people calling me about random stuff. Most of the time i just tell one of my team to call them back. I don’t think Violet is really doing anything wrong. She should probably make sure that everyone is aware of the situation but other than that I don’t think there’s an issue. I’m glad Cooper reacted how he did tbh, would have been hypocritical of him not to, given how he’s acted in the past. The way the guy reacted to his mum wasn’t great. I can understand the reaction to finding out she cheated on his dad, that’s normal, but the way he infantilised her wasn’t great. Unfortunately lots of closeted gay people do raise their kids to be homophobic and are homophobic themselves because of the shame they feel. Not an excuse though. Just realised that the guy with the gay Mum is Tomin, Vala’s Alteran husband on Stargate. Took me way too long to realise where i recognised him from. Nice of Cooper to show up for Charlotte like that. Guarantee if he’d asked her she’d have told her she didn’t want him to go, but it definitely helped her a lot with him being there. Sometimes it’s ok to let people support you. I’m not sure how the Dad could make that decision about his Daughter. He was acting like he was doing it for her but honestly I think he was doing it for himself. He’d rather die along with her and not have to watch her die alone. His son being an orphan after he doesn’t have to watch that. Awful situation and I’m not even saying i’d make a different decision tbh, hopefully i’m never in that situation, but I do think he was being a bit selfish.
