This episode gets me every time with the little girl. I do not do well with children dying. I do love to see Bailey's soft spot for children, though. Fun fact: Chyler Leigh was pregnant during filming, the stress eating, paired with some baggy clothes and camera angles, was to hide the baby weight. I hate how Izzy was using her cancer to get her way when it comes to Meredith's wedding. I know Meridith comes around to the dress in the end, but it still feels manipulative after Meredith expressed her desire for something simple; it's her wedding after all. Also, Richard using his authority as chief to get Meridith to try on wedding dresses feels like it's crossing some kind of professional boundary, although this show is known for crossing those. The thing with Callie and her dad is so sad; it sucks that he refuses to adjust his image of his "perfect little girl". I am glad that Callie didn't start second-guessing her relationship with Arizona as a result of this. This could have easily caused more problems if Callie had broken up with Arizona, even temporarily, to try to appease her father. Happy the show didn't take that route. Overall good episode, and enjoyed your reaction.

I don’t think Owen is irredeemable or anything but i just really dislike the way that he acted in the aftermath of him attacking Cristina. I think he’s taking a good first step though with the therapy and finally admitting that he has a problem. Very sad episode with the kid dying. I really feel for the father who must just feel so helpless trying to do anything to find some solution, but i’m glad he managed to let go and hold her at the end. Poor Izzie trying to cover up how bad she is. She really does fit the role of the wedding planner well though. Very proud of Callie for cutting off her dad even though that’s going to cause her some big financial issues. But she’s an ortho surgeon and that’s one of the most lucrative specialties due to rich sports people often needing that kind of surgery so i’m sure she’ll be fine.
