The teacher and her student is crazy. I’m not sure if this is one of those things that just hasn’t aged well or if it would have been seen as an insane take from Sam and Dell even when it aired, but it is crazy. Pretty sure here in the UK at least it would be illegal even if he was 18 as she’s in a position of power over him. Agreeing with Naomi twice in 2 episodes. Something isn’t right with the world. I like Sheldon. I think he kinda comes across as a bit cringe sometimes, but i do think generally his heart is in the right place and he is genuine. Very ready for this Addison storyline to be done. I wouldn’t go as far as to say this is character assassination but it really doesn’t paint her in a good light. At least it seemed like she finally told him to stop even though she didn’t really, but it was obvious what she meant when talking about the guys brother i think.

2x20 - Regarding the age of consent, at least in Canada, it might be different elsewhere, the age of consent is 16 unless there is a relationship of trust or authority, in which case it's 18. but there are close-in-age exceptions; a 14 or 15-year-old can consent to sexual activity as long as the partner is less than five years older, and a 12 or 13-year-old can consent to sexual activity with a partner as long as the partner is less than two years older. In both cases, there must be no relationship of trust, authority or dependency or any other exploitation of the young person. In California, I do think there are no close-in-age exceptions; the age of consent is 18. However, as long as both of them are like 12-13, it's unlikely they would get in any trouble legally. It's usually only considered statutory rape if one party is a minor and the other is an adult. If both are minors and close in age, it's a misdemeanour at most. 2x21 - In the case of the teacher and the student, nope, just nope, definitely illegal in California and Canada and just gross.
