What’s up you guys. On the 29th of May 2010 Dr who broadcast the second of a two part story featuring the Silurians and Rory Williams died, not only did he die a painful death but he was erased from existence all together after a crack consumed his body, and what did we learn from this? crack hurts those you love. Crack will ruin your body. The episode utilised many different locations and unusual sets to portray the Silurian city, as the production team did not simply want a "cave feel" or a Quarry in Wales. They believed that the Silurians were also sophisticated enough to be able to use materials found underground, such as granite and marble so many of the sets were given an orange glow from beneath to portray the "ambient glow" from the centre of the earth. Plantasia Botanic Gardens was chosen to portray the Silurian city, because it gave a sense of things growing, as these were necessary for the Silurians to survive. Set designers were able to rearrange the plants, though they had to be careful not to show the window leading to the car park or other modern amenities like signs for the shitter, Silurians shit where they like. Plantasia Botanic Gardens, In Swansea had previously been used in ‘The Doctor's Daughter’ Karen Gillan called Rory's death scene "incredibly challenging" for her to perform and tried to make it "truthful and believable" Which I feel she did 10/10 no notes. Overnight ratings were 5.7 million We’ve knocked the pins down! And Rory fell too, but how did you feel about Rory’s second death (he died in Amy’s choice as well) In fact can you give it a beard rating, Stapleton, Jon snow, Ali G Drink some water, have some fun.

Can I be the first to say that I'm glad that Rory wasn't some brooding bad boy, that girls in tv shows and movies always went for at the time this episode aired. He was an awkward, loveable guy that was in love with a girl way of his league, which is cute in a way. I do think those romances are better than the good girl/bad boy ones, which in my opinion are toxic. This is why Rory's death was just cruel and he deserved better then that.

Rory should have tried CPR when the prisoner was killed (I actually looked up whether CPR works on reptiles, and yeah, it can).

I do like how Rory stepped up in this episode, despite not really wanting to be one of the Doctor's companions- trying to keep things under control on the surface, acting as impromptu diplomat, insisting on bringing the dead Silurian back despite the risk. He wasn't very successful, but he gave it his best.
