IU get he is worried but with the cancer and George’s death he needs to man up and give Izzy the support she needs. Yeah, if I had a girlfriend and her ex kept walking in naked and seeing my girlfriend naked, gay or not, it would bother me. But I’m insecure. Looks like Owen is finally making progress in his PTSD therapy. Meredith crying was very sad. Wow, even Cristina showing sadness over George’s death. Derek being very kewl to everyone, especially Meredith and Bailey. He is even helping the Chief. I wonder if he will regret that when he sees what the Chief did. The reason Derek told Richard about the job was so Richard could find a way to convince the Board that he had a plan that justified keeping him. That’s why he kept stalling on accepting the job, to give Webber time to come up with something. Derek just didn’t think it would involve a bunch of people losing their job. A merger of two hospitals mean that one hospital goes away. They combine equipment and keep the newest and best stuff and sell off the rest. They move the staff to one place and the other gets sold. This means there is too many so just like the equipment, they keep the best, the rest have to find a new place to work.

Yep! Bailey is an attending now. Got the navy scrubs. Alex is slipping back into his old self with that conversation with Izzie. He can be really obnoxious at times. Yeah there is a bit of a problem with bi erasure on this show when it comes to Callie. I think some of it can be excused somewhat when it comes to her exploring herself and not being sure what label to put on herself, but I’m not so willing to excuse it from other characters. Nice scene with Bailey and Derek in the elevator. I think consistently his scenes with Bailey are where Derek always shines the most in terms of looking like a nice and normal human and not an asshole like he looks a lot of the time… And a merger with Mercy West coming! Interesting timing with Callie just now leaving to go to that hospital.
