In terms of colours I always think of blue when i think of Grey’s I think just because of the scrub colour. But honestly Red also works for blood (and the logo has red on it). I like the rainbow too though and it kinda works because there is a decent amount of LGBT representation on this show especially for the time! I believe Mercy West was supposed to be about an hour drive away from Seattle Grace and there are other hospitals somewhat close by too, so it’s not a completely crazy merger I don’t think. Although an hour is a long time if it’s an emergency. It makes me laugh that Cristina mentions that George would have been safe during the merger because he was Owen’s guy but that she has nobody in her corner. Very interesting insight into how she views her relationship with him! I really like the way Lexie treated the schizophrenic guy. He’s a guy that’s clearly unwell and he is very aware of that fact with how he didn’t want to wake her up to talk him down. I’m not gonna lie if i was a nurse or something that got cut for budgetary reasons and the neurosurgeon that’s on probably 10x the salary comes and shakes my hand and tells me how great i am that would probably make me want to punch him in the face and I’m an extremely non-violent person… I actually think the short hair suits Izzie quite a bit. Suits her a lot better than the wig at least.

Your comment about merging schools made me laugh. When i was in year 12 my school (the only public all girls school in the state) merged with two co-ed schools who hated each other. it was a harder location to get to and we had to have our formal with people we have never met.... it sucked.

In reference to lighting color for Grey’s, I believe the color theme for Show advertising is Teal. So the blue grey does fit, but what ever color gets you in the reaction mood is the best color. Ellen Pompeo is about eight months pregnant in this episode. The actress playing the child that you said was in Stranger Things, is not. She is Taylor Geare. Not sure which actress in Stranger Things you thought she was. Holly? Holly was played by Nell Fisher in Season 5 and Anniston and Tinsley Price in Season 1. Alex being just a little bit of a dick, but he is worried about Izzy so I will let it slide. Overall, I think Chief Webber is ok but recently he has become an ass. Interesting episode, having been in mergers before, it can be somewhat this way, but this is a bit exaggerated. The shutting down of a hospital happens a lot in US. The decision has nothing to do with the wellbeing of nearby populace. It has to do with money, pure and simple. Medical care in US is a business, that's it. No different from a restaurant, bar or bowling alley. It’s not right, its not fair, it’s downright disgusting. But that’s medicine in the USA. If it makes money, it thrives, if it doesn't, it shuts down. It’s not run by a medical board, or the government, its run by a bunch of business men and are hired by stockholders that invest their money in the hospital. That’s why you see Webber making the decisions he does, trying to ensure the hospital makes money, because if it doesn’t, it closes. If he can make money while saving lives great, but if it doesn’t, everyone gets fired and the area losses a hospital. Horrible isn’t it. Welcome to my world.
