Hello sweetie, hope you’re okay, how about that ending! Big shock and awe River song is revealed to be the daughter of Amy and Rory. This was episode 7 and the 777th episode of the show. This episode was originally entitled Demons Run. It went through several changes including His Darkest Hour and An Angel Goes to War. Demons Run was the episode's title but only in Germany. This is the first River Song story where the phrase "Hello Sweetie" isn't heard. Although Madame Kovarian had appeared throughout the first half of season six, this was the first episode Frances Barber filmed. She is a lovely woman, met her at a Con once, I would describe her as a very nice posh lady. Steven Moffat had planned the revelation about River Song "for a long time"; when creating Amy, he chose "Pond" for her last name to create a link. He intended for the "answer to be as complicated as the question". Baby Melody Pond was played by twins, a common practice used in filming so that one twin can rest while the other is on set. The twins were three months old. Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill were both nervous about holding the infants, but they felt it added to their acting. According to Steven Moffat, he wanted to include Jack Harkness in the Doctor's army, but could not because John Barrowman was busy filming Torchwood: Miracle Day in America. I think he would have been in place of the fat blue dude who had his head cut off. In 2009-2010, Alex Kingston played a character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit named Miranda Pond. Karen Gillan stated the episode showed a different side of Amy and thought female viewers would sympathise with her, did you? There is no ‘next time’ trailer at the end of this episode because it’s a mid-season finale. This concludes the first half of season six. RIP Lorna Bucket, she joined an army to meet the Doctor and then she died. Love it all day, it gets a Kenny Loggins full beard, three Roses, 5 stars, 10/10 no notes it brings me joy.

Zoot!

The big reveal at the end completely shocked me the first watch despite the clues. Loved it. One of my fav episodes of the series.
