Hello sweetie, it’s time for a River to flow… there’s a Pond and she swam with the… okay look idk where I’m going with this so let’s just say it’s TIME (geddit) for River Song to begin. In fact there was a subtle hint at Who Mels character was in her first scene in the episode, her face cannot be seen due to the sun's glare behind her. She moves her body to block the sun and her face is shown, much like the first scene of River Song in The Impossible Astronaut. When the Doctor is in the Tardis going through holograms of his companions the images are taken from publicity shots. Steven Moffat originally envisaged the Anti-Bodies as humanoid robots with featureless chrome heads. However, he changed his mind so they became floating, tentacular automatons. Arthur Darvill was pleased that Rory became more of an "action hero" in this episode, and Matt Smith wanted to wear a long coat because it was cold on set. When Steven Moffat wrote the episode, he was simultaneously overseeing Doctor Who and Sherlock, as well as co-writing The Adventures of Tintin. As a result, he was fookin knackered (too exhausted) to rewrite this episode, so his only option was to hand the cast a first draft and hope for the best. River Songs journey is being told in reverse order right in front of our eyes, we’ve seen her right at the beginning and we know how she ends so now we’ve got the juicy middle bit left and that’s the best part. A solid two and a roses, Mels annoys me, like if you knew her as a person you’d quickly get sick of her shit. Her only good thing of note is the line ‘cut to the song it’s getting boring’ in Amy’s bedroom Easy two roses because it’s River Song and even though the episode is titled “Let’s Kill Hitler” he’s barely in it, just chilling in the closet. Beard rating The LA Knight

Things Rory Williams/Pond and Steve Rogers have in common: 1. They're both older than they look. 2. They've both died and come back. 3. They've both traveled in time. 4. They've both punched Hitler in the face.
