There were criticisms from fans that there weren’t any big deaths in the seasons leading up to this. Although this plot is from the comics, it almost felt like the fans got they wished for.

I do think Rick leaving the communities shows just how vulnerable they are now. It does make it interesting to try to figure out how they can will decide to get out of this not using Rick’s war strategies. … I liked your rant at the end but the way.

I thoroughly enjoyed your rant at the end of this episode, you rarely give any closing discussions after your reactions, it’s usually “Well, let me know what you all thought, and I’ll see you in the next one” and I’m thinking to myself, “I want to know what YOU thought” 😂 But seriously, I love when we get episodes like this, there were some major detours made from the comics with the heads on the pikes, for starters, in the comic book version Ezekiel and Rosita were among the pike victims. Henery’s death came as a complete shock to everyone because Carl, who’s comic book story line in this arc went to Henery in the series, never actually died, it was a shocking twist that no one, including myself ever saw coming. Poor Carol, she just has the worst luck when it comes to children.
