Early in classic Who, a limit of twelve regenerations was set. With the War Doctor and 10 regenerating to himself. . .

Have you perhaps already seen Mark of Zorro? Asking for reasons.

Hello. Doctor Who? Doctor who died and River came twice *Shan smirks* I knew exactly where your mind went because I was already there *smirks* This episode aired October 1st 2011, and it served as a tribute to Nicholas Courtney (if you know what to look for) who played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart who died in February of 2011. The Doctor learns Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart died peacefully in his sleep, and from what I’ve heard about the man he was irl he was a good man who at Dr Who fan events would often tell a story of how everybody was wearing eye patches (when his character was the only one who was meant to) in an amusing anecdote about his time on Doctor Who in the 1970’s. The cast found working with the eye patches strange as they had to act with one eye; Alex Kingston remarked that it made her "slightly dizzy" Amy Pond remarks “we’ll be in Cairo soon” this was the birthplace of Nicholas Courtney. Live Chess", came into the story because Steven Moffat wanted to make chess — which he called "one of the most boring games in the world" — into a dangerous spectator sport. He also said this episode was like a rollercoaster ride of Doctor Who madness. And I agree it’s a bit rewind time alternate reality clone story. Okay so at this point Amy knows that River Song is her daughter and she hasn’t had that moment of joy I guess reconciliation is the word I’m searching for, there was no ‘long lingering hug or be careful dear moment’ yah know what I mean? Did their dynamic change? Did Amy become more protective of River when going on adventures, do they even go on adventures anymore or is it more like a “normal” family holiday. Or does she just come round for drinks occasionally in that massive football field of a garden Amy has. Two roses. 3 outta 5 stars

Not the best finale in my opinion, not why maybe it should of been a two-parter, it just didn't leave a strong enough impact on me when I first saw it. It would of been nice to have seen a bit more of this world, where all of history is happening at once, cause it looks really interesting. But the Doctor surviving his death was cool.

The world where all of time is happening at once is so cool. They had pterosaurs!
