2026-09-06 22:00 Hello Shan how goes the day? hope you’re doing good and things are okay in your world. The title of this episode was inspired by snakes on a plane. Matt Smith had to wear padded trousers when riding the triceratops, and recalled it as "a painful couple of hours” his poor lil round things were taking a beatin’ The Doctor kissing Rory was ad-libbed by Matt Smith. Arthur Darvill's reaction was genuine, and speaking of Rory with this story he becomes the only person to have travelled in the TARDIS with both his parent and own child. It’s fuckin dinosaurs on a spaceship and the evil guy from Game of Thrones being evil. Again! A Weasley being the most dad ever. And two voices from Peep Show, Mark and Jez as tantrum robots. Chris Chibnall's original intention was that Riddell (Indiana Jones dude) had once saved the life of the Doctor, who was now giving him one last thrilling experience, because Riddell was fated to die the day he was collected from the African plains. This backstory was lost in editing. Chris Chibnall suggested to Moffat that he wanted a "bonkers" gang of characters. He felt that Doctor Who could have "collisions of characters that no other show in the world can do", and that it was about finding a "desperate" group of characters who would "bounce" off each other. Idk man sounds like Guardians of the Galaxy to me. See the Doctor is weaning himself off the Ponds, they have lives, bbqs to attend, and light bulbs to change. Peace out Girl Scouts

Yay, I'm all caught up on the Who reactions! Dinosaurs, like bowties, are cool. Not much else to say about this episode, it has dinosaurs and that makes it cool (the raptors should be feathered though).

Charlie Matthews

Title was inspired by Snakes on Plane? Then all we need now is Samuel L. Jackson to show up and say "I have had it, with these motherfucking dinosaurs, on this motherfucking ship!"

When I heard that dinosaurs were going to be in this episode I was so happy, cause it when i was kid I loved dinosaurs and wanted them to be in the show, the first time I started watching it. However I was disappointed that the t-rex was only 1 scene and it was asleep, I know they have a small budget and had to do with what had but still. 2 Harry Potter actors in 1 episode, the Doctor might as well visit Hogwarts next. Wait a minute he did! As David Tenant lol.
