Yee- fuckin-yawn! Well well finally my time has come, strap in and grab ya toilet paper cos we shittin on this one. Fuck! I loathe this episode I always skip it on a rewatch. It’s a Chris Chibnall episode. It’s a gun-slinging Doctor meets Wild West cowboy story and I had enough cowboy and Indians stories growing up, hated them then hate them now. Keep your greasy haired food ridden beard ramblings to yourself cowboy Bob. By the way you asked where “Bob's your uncle" comes from well… it is a popular British idiom which basically means "and there you have it" or "it's as simple as that". The most common theory connects the phrase to British Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil (known as "Bob"). In 1887, he appointed his relatively inexperienced nephew, Arthur Balfour, as Chief Secretary for Ireland. This blatant act of nepotism meant that the nephew’s success was simply attributed to having an influential uncle named Bob. Bob was literally his uncle and it got shit done. I fuckin hate westerns! Did I say? There’s only one I like and that’s The Quick and the Dead, only because Sam Raimi the horror and Tobey McGuire Spider-Man guy directed it. All the others can suck a fat one. Have you seen a picture of chibnall? The guy was King of the nerds back in the day, chairman of the Doctor Who fan club and he ends up working on his favourite show. Oh and the bad guy Jex in this episode is Pete. He will always be Pete from Gavin and Stacey but with a squiggle on his face. Three bombs for the episode. No beards. It’s a baby soft smooth skin fuck boy of an episode. fuck off chin-ball. Fuck off cowboys and fuck you too gun wielding Doctor when the plot calls for it. I knew the moment you started the season, I thought to myself "She's not going to happy, when she finds there's a cowboy episode in this one". I think the only reason shows like this have cowboy episodes is because the writers grew up watching Westerns with Clint Eastwood and all that and thought it would fun to have it in their shows. Okay gonna give a few facts about this episode, despite it taking place in America it was actually shot in Spain instead due to cost. The design of the gunslinger was inspired by Frankenstein's monster, which is a cool look by the way.

I don't like this episode and do skip it on re-watch. I've also just come back from seeing The Odyssey for the second time (great film by the way), I just thought why haven't we seen the Doctor to go Ancient Greece and met the greek gods yet? It could go like this: The Doctor and his friends arrive in Greece and run into a monster like the Hydra or something, and meet Athena or Hermes or even Zeus, and find out that the greek gods are really advanced aliens helping humans develop further and the monsters are experiments that have gone wrong. I'd watch that instead of this episode, cause not everyone likes cowboys.
