Seasons 2 and 3 are definitely far and away better than the first season so hopefully you get the chance to watch them. I’ve really been enjoying rewatching Season 1 so far. And yes, Jane has been known to use coercion and other illegal tactics to get confessions but usually pushes them for more evidence in order to corroborate and get an arrest. Whether or not that would actually work out in real life, I don’t know.

The only times he gets in trouble for using hypnosis and stuff is usually when Lisbon is around, Rigsby and Cho a way more relaxed about it. Entrapment is when you force someone to commit a crime, this probably falls more into intimidation. Yes she will probably have her case dismissed for it. Season 1 is more establishing the show, throw in a sprinkle of Red John references but keeping the case of the week format. From memory season 2 onwards still keeps it predominantly case of the week but adds more overarching story kind of like what Grimm did in season 5, don't quote me on that though. I don't remember whole seasons at a time, I can only recall the episode once I see the opening scene then I could tell you exactly what happens throughout the episode before it happens, also works out well so I can't spoil the next episode for you.

Is this my favorite show you react too? No. It is one that I watch each month. I do find your reactions and comments interesting. Would I be disapointed if you went with a different show ?It depends on what you switched to. As for this episode. You were right the first time, A coersded confession. If she decided to contest the confession. Which I think she would. Even if she thought Jane would turn her in to the mafia guy, she would still be covered by the Witness Protection agreement which covers the entire family and would just get hidden again.

Jane breaks a lot of laws, unless coercion is a lot worse than the others he has broken so far. Whenever the first season ends if you don’t want to react to the second season, whatever show you react to next i’ll watch and probably comment
