BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

(writes this before watching) Hopefully this will make you feel a little better after watching the gut wrench that was "I Will Remember You". Never seen you upset to the point of pissed off before... Wowsers... *breaks out drumsticks to quietly air drum along with your "guitar playing" of theme song* ;)

I’ve been waiting for this reaction to this episode for months and it did not disappoint! You are spot on about Riley I don’t hate him but every time he tries to be romantic with Buffy he is so cringe with how he speaks to her. Also how great are Spike and Buffy? Their banter to their arguing to their romantic chemistry (though under a spell) was all just so great. Every time they have scenes together its always fun. When u were like “I never knew I wanted this.” Same girl, same.

One of my favorite episodes of Season 4. Pretty much all of the self-contained episodes in Season 4 are brilliant, including the next one, Hush. Whoever suggested you to replace Hero for Hush this week made the right decision imo. Though I'm still very much looking forward to your reaction to Hero as well.

Michael Roach

As always love and appreciate your reactions. Thank you.

Hush is one of the best episodes of the entire series.

Spike is actually probably the most emotionally intelligent and insightful characters in the show despite being an evil vampire, he just usually uses it to mock someone. Riley is like Matt from the vampire diaries.

I love these videos. They always brighten my day.

"Spike lips! Lips of Spike!" Oh, Buffy, you say that like it's a bad thing! 😁 Your reaction to this episode was everything I was hoping for 😁

I loved your improvised lyrics at the start! I hope you'll do more of this in future, speculating what the episode is gonna be about over the opening theme! :p Glad to see you having fun with this episode after the big sad of I Will Remember You <3

the whole "beer bad" thing here is due to influence from the higher ups to discourage teen drinking on tv at the time. It´´s weird and stupid

Something Blue - that has to be about a wedding... or somebody is sad... I see what they did there. Neat.

Willow drinking beer is a problem. She is under-age so she would not have been served, she must've snuck the beer in to the Bronze and probably had a few before she decided to go there and dance her troubles away.

Josie Ball

I loved your reaction to Spike and Buffy 💓 Thank you for this

Afta. You SHIP Spike/Buffy? Do you think it's reasonable to ship the protagonist with someone who is evil? Anyway, when it comes to Spike in general, I was happy that you liked Spike because I knew you would be so happy when he reappeared in season 4. This show has so many crazy twists and turns. All the characters get to stretch and grow. It's fun to go on this journey with you.

Riley is just white bread. No butter or jam, untoasted, plain old white bread. He’s not bad... but he needs some damn flavor.

Gregor Donaj

Imagine the showrunners calling the actress who plays Amy. "Hi. We got a role for you. You'll reappear as Amy in an episode od Buffy.... for 3 seconds.... naked. Are you in?"

I'd have to look up the exact details, but there's some penalty fee or something that shows pay. It's dropped if they do an anti-drug or alcohol episode. Even the Drew Carrey show did one despite their show being about a bunch of people almost constantly drinking. Anyway that's why Beer Bad was made. However they ended up not getting benefitted for it, since they said the problems only came from magic, and was not really a psa against drinking alcohol and was more against drinking MAGIC beer.
