13 Hours : The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

While 13 Hours is a fine addition to the action thriller genre, I really wish some people wouldn't treat it like it's a documentary (and not biographical). As Ames points out, there is / was a lot of politics involved here (that continues to be discussed over a decade after the incident) and with some events depicted here being disputed.

To this day, "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" is one of the best and most powerful movies I have ever seen.

You seem to have taken a deep liking for war movies sweetie. 🥰 hmhm. I would suggest the next following -Valkyrie 2008 (Tom Cruise) -Behind enemy lines (Owen Wilson) Enjoy 😉 😘

While an entertaining movie, it is only "based" on facts. The CIA Station Chief is portrayed as an idiot, when in fact he absolutely was not. CIA officials testified under oath to Congress that Bob (CIA Chief) never told anyone to "stand down". They go out of their way to make Bob the villain and unlikable. The CIA put out a statement after the movie was released: “No one will mistake this movie for a documentary," the statement continued. "It’s a distortion of the events and people who served in Benghazi that night. It’s shameful that, in order to highlight the heroism of some, those responsible for the movie felt the need to denigrate the courage of other Americans who served in harm’s way.” Let’s also not forget that this movie was directed by Michael Bay. The same guy who's masterpieces include Transformers movies and the 2001 Pearl Harbor….. Like I said. It’s entertaining, but no were close to factual.
