Also known as Star Trek VI: The Canadian Civil War.

Star Trek is Gilbert and Sullivan, it’s about duty it’s military at it’s core It’s about doing your duty, in spite of what you might want personally, and that level of sacrifice is always going to hit in a very deep way Six and two are my two favorites, even though I love them all. After watching the wrath of Khan watch along, which I absolutely loved, my first thought was I cannot wait for Ames to see part six if I may offer any of my insight on why Star Trek hits, I haven’t read all the comments, I don’t know if anyone else has said this, but there’s just some aspect of the sacrifice that comes along with military duty That’s is very touching. You felt it in band of Brothers and you felt it in saving Private Ryan and the Pacific and masters of the air. Star Trek really is no different. It’s military in nature. I really loved watching this and I really loved going through Star Trek with you. And I am truly excited to see TNG and the next generation movies unfold as well. They’re also so good. You have been and will always be my favorite reaction personality

Kirk and McCoy's defense lawyer is, in fact, played by the same actor as Worf. I think 'in universe' he's meant to be Worf's grandfather, IIRC.

Many episodes of Star Trek are morality plays for the times. This movie came out a bit after the Soviet Union collapsed ending the cold war. It opened up questions about how we abandon hate and embrace a new world order.

This movie is forever cemented in my mind, I find myself quoting it all the time whenever I get stressed or disappointed, "I'm going to... find me a pot of black coffee", "Id give good money for ___ to shut up!" lol

I’m so glad you’re doing these Star Trek movies and now Series…two of my favorites are, “Generations” and “First Contact”. Have you thought about checking out any of the other series, such as “Deep Space Nine”, “Voyager”, “Discovery”, or “Picard”. They’re all very different, but manage to have the same feel and even integrate some of the same characters as they introduce new ones…I think you would really enjoy them! Also, if you decide to do the rest of the movies
