To quote Rocket Raccoon: "Oh...yeah!" Edit: major announcement coming up on Marvel's YouTube channel, so everything else is on hold. Edit 2: Oh, this movie is STACKED! Avengers: Doomsday!

Yep, this is a very fun movie. That's what I remember about it. Exhilarating.

When I saw this movie in 1991, like a lot of people I had to try skydiving. I got addicted to it and made 854 jumps over the next ten years. Of course, the skydiving portrayed in this movie is not even close to accurate.

This was fun 🌊 Kathryn Bigelow knows how to film action with the best of them. She was married to James Cameron in case you didn't know...He was a producer on this. Cameron also wrote and produced her scifi thriller 'Strange Days' which has been one of my favorite movies for years. It wasn't until her Oscar for The Hurt Locker that she finally got the recognition she deserved.

One of my fave Swayze performances.. Great ending too. Katheryn Bigelow definitely a director you should check out. She just doesn't make bad films. From THE HURT LOCKER to ZERO DARK THIRTY and, in my opinion, the greatest VAMPIRE thriller I've ever seen, NEAR DARK...

I don’t think Johnny fell for the spiritualism from the tanned guru Bodhi. Instead, I think Johnny and Bodhi fell for each other. I like Angelo taking the head shot at the guy holding the young woman. I watched this movie for the first time 1-2 years ago, but forgot that the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is in it. He tossed his badge. "F*ckin' Dirty Harry up in here." I like Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker (2008) and Zero Dark Thirty (2012). I like Dirty Dancing. I like your Australian accent.

I knew we'd get Kathryn Bigelow to you one day. It took a few months, but I hope you enjoyed the intro.

I love Point Break. Seriously love it. Grew up in southern California. Had friends that did dawn patrol. Dated a woman that surfed. Still say dude and rad. It's a special movie to me. Surfing, sky diving, bank robbing, absolutely shredded cult leader Swayze is my favorite. He was born to play Bhodi. Bank robbery to foot chase to shooting the sky is one of my favorite action sequences ever. There's some great stuff about them building a special "pogo" cam thing so the camera guy could run along with them. I was also a big Red Hot Chili Peppers fan from the beginning so it's epic for me that Anthony Kiedis is in this. Crazy how the movies connect...we get Lori Petty in back to back poll winners. She's amazing in this. Had a huge crush on her. And somehow got the Dirty Harry badge throw, which I didnt know about, right before the Johnny Utah badge throw. Super fun watch a long.

I just subscribed to your Patreon after watching your The Shining reaction on YouTube. I love how detailed your commentary was. Its more than just a reaction, its almost a video essay!

What number is this on the AFI list?

I forgot how much of a great ride this one was. I liked how Keanu broke out the Canadian Tuxedo for you Ames in that last beach scene. I always thought that last scene was filmed in Australia, but this time I recognized that beach from one of my Goonie trips, just a bit north of Cannon Beach in Ecola State Park.
