I'm new! I joined without realizing she'd be watching this great show. What's the pattern for the STNG episodes? Is Hold Down A choosing them or was there a poll?

I loved how you reacted to Q when he said "Seized my vessel!" That jaw drop for seconds had me rolling LOL You'll notice that the Admiral uniform Q wore didn't have a combadge or rank on it. The "Pips" for Admiral back then were odd anyway haha

Good reaction. The Q thread is an important one to pull, and this was just the beginning. lol I keep wanting to say ‘these get better’ to you, because the first few seasons are….stiff? I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like watching CGI in its infancy where you thought it was cool until you watched it 20 years later lol. But you get it already, I know.

That was a fun one and a great reaction, Ames! Picard quoting Hamlet was one of my favorite parts, "What a piece of work is man! How noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god!" You were right... Q did not like that one bit!! 😂 Seeing as we're moving into your birthday month (where nearly anything is possible), I'm hoping that, after TNG S1E13 "Datalore", you will watch S1E15 "11001001", ranked on IMDb as one of TNG's Top 5 (out of 25) Season 1 episodes, and one of my personal favorites. Who knows? The stars could align. 🌟

I had no idea you had started Star Trek TNG. I'm really glad of this, as I am/was a massive fan of TNG (less so the other trek series). And while I don't mind you skipping some episodes (especially in the first and second seasons), it does make me worry that you'll end up skipping some really good episodes later on. (This happened with another reactor.) I'm sure you've said this before in a post, but someone catch me up: What is the methodology being used to determine what episodes are watched?
