Such a fun watch in the past and even though I’ve seen it lots of times another can’t hurt 😉

Comedy, action, mystery, horror, (b)romance. Gets better and better and better as it goes. My most FUN movie to watch. LFG

So now just the final movie of the Cornetto trilogy, The World’s End. While I think that’s the last Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg/Nick Frost cinematic combo, there is also a 2 season series called Spaced which all three did a few years before Shaun of the Dead. You can see a lot of the DNA for this trilogy in it and it’s great fun.

I haven't seen this one since it came out on dvd. It's absolutely hilarious. Amazing throwback.

The phrase "the greater good" has been ruined by this, regardless of context anytime I hear it it back to the village elders chanting in my head 🤣

Such a great line-up of veteran British actors. I can definitely relate to geriatric villainy. Maybe someday Edgar Wright's foray into documentary filmmaking (The Sparks Brothers) will show up here.

Thanks for the reaction. My 2nd watch. "That's what I'm talking about." Funny. Entertaining. A good parody. Enjoyed the satire. I rate the movie at 3/4 for me. "Nothin' like a bit of girl on girl." I like the arc with Angel and Danny. Glad that Danny didn't die in the end. I like better than Shaun of the Dead, though I do like Shaun of the Dead -- both hilarious. I have not seen the The World’s End. That would have been cool to go to the SW celebration in Tokyo. Would have been a great bday present. I read about the announced Star Wars: Starfighter film (from Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy) to be released May 28, 2027.
