Scary Movie (2002) watch along

WAZZZZZZUP! This is my favorite of the Scary Movie films. I know the Wayans Brothers from the 90s sketch comedy show In Living Color so I was familiar with their style of humor.

Last one to watch is a rotten egg! LFG

Anna Ferris is a national treasure! Great comedic timing and was MADE for these. I cant let this go without mentioning Simon Rex in Scary Movie V with one of the funniest scenes I've EVER seen! Simon would later go on to star in RED ROCKET, Simon Bakers mini-masterpiece about a down and out porn star which I thought was the best film of 2021 (along w/THE LAST DUEL)...

Love this movie so much 🤩 The comedic timing of Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans and Regina Hall is impeccable! IMO the first sequel is also worth watching. Just a shame it went downhill after that one. Btw I can't believe you haven't checked out any of Mel Brooks' parodies yet! They are on another level compared to the parodies you've watched so far: Spaceballs, History of the World Part I and Robin Hood: Men in Tights are certainly worth a watch.

This was hilarious! Really well written and performed comedy that is willing to go well beyond the boundaries of good taste for a laugh. BTW Ames, I DETESTED the movie Shakespeare in Love. It has been speculated that it beat out Saving Private Ryan for Best Picture due to Harvey Weinstein lobbying for votes from members of the Academy.
