Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

I'm always reminded of the Rob Zombie song "More Human Than Human." Worf is more Klingon than Klingon.

"Two" to beam aboard. K'Ehleyr being killed is sad. Agree, tragic we lost her. I liked her. She interesting, attractive, and had plenty of good in her. Worf's wail was a memorable moment. That weapon is a cool weapon. I always thought that.

Great reaction. I absolutely love the Klingon politic episodes. They are very high stakes even when represented by, in this case, a few representatives. The gravitas carry’s the weight. Michael Dorn is fantastic as Worf. But Gowron is my second favorite Klingon. His glare is second to none.

Great ep and reaction. Ames reaction to Gowron for the first time is hilarious and legit. I liked K'Ehleyr, she had zero tolerance for bs nad called people out on it. It looked liked Ames was undergoing Picard's telling off herself, pretty immersive. And even between the tears, there is always time to insert a Darth Vader joke, I mean how could you not the way he said it.

Anthony Hernandez

The Klingon leader who was killed, was played by an actor who played a Klingon in Star Trek five the final frontier. Different character, however.

John Courtright

I've been waiting for this episode and K'Ehleyr's return. Her snappy repartee was second to none. "Not even a bite on the cheek for old time's sake?" Perfect look. Perfect delivery. It is such a shame that we won't get to see more of her! It was so satisfying to see Worf pull the family's ancestral bat'leth off the wall and put it to good use! "Do not think of it as a weapon. Make it part of your hand... part of your arm. Make it part of you." Indeed! Great reaction Ames!!

Travis Boyle

Such a great episode. Though sad to see K'Eylher killed off. They sell a Bat'leth ( Worf's klingon weapon) as a pizza cutter. Lol

WastedPo

Even though this is a good episode, it does perplex me that they only had K'Eylher on twice before they killed her off. She was so entertaining and such a breath of fresh air that it feels like a wasted opportunity not to have used her more.

Tomorrow is William Shatners 95th birthday (March 22, 1931)

Funny how the first officers of the Enterprise make such good directors. Here was another solid effort from Jonathan Frakes. (It won't be his last!)

Ken Schneyer

A lovely reaction, Ames! Thank you. I remember being heartbroken when K'Ehleyr died, and I wasn't the only one. Not only was she a fabulous personality, but Suzie Plakson is an amazing actress. *sigh* At least we got her for two episodes. I agree with you that STNG has a problem of killing off wonderful female characters, and it always pissed me off.
