Hey Friends!

How are you all doing? I hope well! Life has been good because spring is in the air! The sunshine feels amazing, the spring rain smell is wonderful, and I feel like I have been coming out of a winter hibernation! It's been a hectic couple of weeks for me. I've had family around, and I have been rehabbing and getting some testing done regarding the concussions I had last year! If you didn't know LOL... ALL (so far) have been very positive. The best part is I have been feeling so much better! I am so grateful for one of my practitioners! He is a healer, that is for certain, and so knowledgeable about concussions! So, I wanted to thank you for your patience this week with my post! I am also sorry about the lack of AFI watch-alongs. I haven't had time to get GWTW done with my schedule. I expect to get to that in the first week of May, back to regular programming! After we are done, I am excited to revisit some of the AFI list entries I haven't seen in a long while, too!!

I hummed and hawed this week about what to watch. So many times I switched it up (are you interested in what I pulled?). Haha, we will watch them sooner or later! But that was another reason I took so long to post! LOL! Here is what I landed on!

TNG Tuesday - S4xE12 "The Wounded" This episode was so touching!

Friday - Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961). I am so thrilled to finally get to see this and another Audrey Hepburn film! She is just darling!

Sunday - Scary Movie 2 (2001). I legitimately CANNOT wait for this one.

📢📢📢Make sure to get your picks into the wheel BB tier! I'll be spinning for sure this weekend! We will get nom's rolling for another poll as well!

📢📢📢I think I'm going to try and muster up a LIVE this Saturday if my schedule can do it! We can have a coffee and chat, so keep an eye out for that post!

I love YOU ALL! I hope you have the most wonderful week ahead!

xx

Glad you're feeling better Ames. Breakfast at Tiffany's is lovely apart from Mickey Rooney. On one hand there is Guinness and Quinn in LOA and then there is Rooney in BAT. Love to see more Audrey anytime.

That's great news about your concussions testing and feeling better.

AUDREY!!!! Absolutely love her and this movie!! She was an incredible actress, person, and presence. My favorite actress ever. Glad things are getting better for you.

BaT, a fascinating snapshot of its era, but pretty divisive, it seems, these days (and not just because of Mickey Rooney). Should be interesting, one way or another. Can't wait!

I have a picture of Breakfast at Tiffany’s in B&W, Edition Tushita in a corner of my living room.😎

Breakfast at Tiffany's, uh -oh. Nice movie but..... Glad you're feeling better. No need to rush on the AFI list

My candidate for the greatest movie theme song of all time. An enduring classic from Henry Mancini. And Audrey Hepburn sings for herself, which she didn't in My Fair Lady. I like parts of the film, but I'm not altogether fond of the "beat generation" flightiness of the goings on. It just hasn't aged well, IMHO. But the song...!!!!

Gardner von Holt

Add me to the "Love everything Audrey and will watch anything she is in", but the rest just didn't age well.

Oh my god, your head! I had one concussion last year and it really knocked me out. You had more than one! I can't even imagine. I really hope you're feeling ok. PS: I'm HAPPY you're spacing out this patch of the AFI list! PSS: See you (and the Audreynator!) on Friday!
